The hotel was ideal and comfortable. the staff were amicable. - I really enjoyed the handy location next to a bar/restaurant, various attractions in-and-around Winterset, and a grocery store. - the room was beautifully maintained with a good bed and bathroom. - the breakfast had plenty of options, and the prices of cookies, eggs, and sausages were affordable.

Quick check in and great service. New building and rooms with comfortable bed. Particularly nice breakfast for the start of the day with rolls and also great waffle maker. Location near downtown, various attractions in-and-around Winterset, and covered bridges and other places of interest.

The location is convenient, just a short stroll away from The Winterset Stage. The staff are very very helpful, managed the parking on-site.

The room was a nice size and the bed was great. the dining room had a variety of good meals for breakfast. the hotel is located in a central area next to Winterset, IA and the center of Madison County, close to a grocery store, and near the John Wayne museum.
